The Homeowners near the Manhattan Country Club can expect some amplified sound from approximately 4:30 to 11:00 pm. As in years past, they will be hosting a food and wine fair from 4:30 – 7:00pm with soft amplified music. At 7:30 their live auction begins and their auctioneer will be conducting the auction by microphone. A live band and dancing will follow the conclusion of the auction and will continue until 11pm. They promise they will have the necessary amplified sound permits from the City of Manhattan Beach.

They appreciate the cooperation of the MVHOA residents. The Manhattan Wine Auction generates over $650,000 per year which goes directly back to the school children of Manhattan Beach.

]]><![CDATA[El Segundo Power Redevelopment Project Traffic Update ]]>Wed, 11 Apr 2012 08:08:34 -0800http://www.mvhoa.com/1/post/2012/04/el-segundo-power-redevelopment-project-traffic-update.htmlThe power plant, owned and operated by NRG Energy, Inc., will transport oversized power generation equipment from Vista Del Mar Boulevard at Grand Avenue to the El Segundo Power gate at 301 Vista Del Mar Boulevard on Tuesday April 10, Wednesday April 11, Thursday April 12 and Friday April 13 between approximately 12:00 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. These equipment deliveries have been permitted during these hours to minimize traffic impacts. The oversized deliveries require the closure of Vista Del Mar Blvd between Grand Avenue and 45th Street between 12:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M. on these mornings. Traffic will be temporarily detoured around the closure via Rosecrans Avenue, Sepulveda Boulevard and Grand Avenue. Local access between Rosecrans Avenue and 45th Street will be maintained.

 MANHATTAN VILLAGE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION ADJOURNED ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF DIRECTORS 

 Pursuant to Article 2, 1363.03, below is the tabulated result of the Annual Meeting of the Membership:

  1. The Annual Meeting convened at the Manhattan Village Mall Community Room at approximately 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.The number of members in good standing and entitled to vote on matters reported below at the Annual Meeting was 400. There were present, in person, by Secret Ballot or by proxy, at said meeting 159 members. A quorum of at least 25% of the voting power was obtained.
